Our team boasts over 80 years of combined experience in a range of fields, including business development, public-private partnerships, government, law, higher education, marketing, advocacy, equitable planning and development, and non-governmental organizations. At The 632 Group, our leadership team brings decades of experience across business, government, policy, and global initiatives. Each member contributes unique expertise and vision, guiding our strategy, fostering innovation, and ensuring our clients achieve measurable results.

Melanie Cervantes, President and Founder – Melanie is a proud eighth-generation Texan with over two decades of experience in government, international affairs, community relations, and public policy. She began her career in the late 1990s under the tutelage of the late State Representatives Irma Rangel and Ruth Jones McClendon—two trailblazing women who paved the way for greater representation and equity in Texas politics. Later, as Public Policy Coordinator for Catholic Charities across 19 Texas counties, Melanie deepened her expertise in advocacy and community impact. In 1997, she founded MDC Consulting, LLC, where she collaborated with city officials, legislators, UN representatives, and global partners across Europe, North America, and the Middle East. Her international policy expertise spans trade, education, energy, municipal utilities, public health, sustainability, and environmental issues. Today, Melanie leverages this diverse background to help clients navigate complex challenges and implement strategic solutions that drive meaningful impact.

Ina Minjarez, VP, Strategic Initiatives – The Honorable Ina Minjarez is an accomplished attorney, former Texas State Representative, and trusted advocate with more than two decades of experience in law, public policy, and community leadership. With a distinguished career spanning both the public and private sectors, she now advises business clients on strategic, legal, and regulatory matters that drive meaningful impact. As a legislator, Ina championed policies that strengthened working families, supported small businesses, and protected children in the foster care system—earning statewide recognition for her pragmatic leadership and unwavering commitment to justice. Before her election to the Texas House of Representatives, she served as an Assistant District Attorney and later built a successful private practice specializing in criminal defense and family law. Today, Ina continues to leverage her deep expertise in law, governance, and advocacy to guide clients through complex challenges and toward sustainable, values-driven growth.

Nar Dorrycott, VP, External Affairs – Nar is a highly accomplished government and business professional with experience across the public, nonprofit, and private sectors. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and a Master’s degree in Public Administration and began her career in the nonprofit world, developing a passion for mission-driven work and helping people thrive. Nar is an exceptional project manager who has led initiatives in land development, real estate, technology startups, and corporate communications. She began in the Pink Dome as a policy analyst at the Texas Senate and later served as Chief of Staff in the Texas House of Representatives, overseeing legislative strategy, staff leadership, and multibillion-dollar appropriations. Known for her collaborative spirit, Nar enjoys working with people and building partnerships that create meaningful impact and bring value and happiness to the communities she serves.
